1934 U.S. North Africa Silver Certificate -- GREAT RARE US CURRENCY!

For sale is a very cool 1934-A Series Yellow Seal North Africa $ 10 Silver Certificate. This currency was issued to U.S. soldiers who were stationed in North Africa for them to use around the military bases. Some also called them "emergency money" because it was issued to the soldiers on a last minute basis. What distinguishes them as issued in North Africa is the distinct yellow seal on the right of the bill. If these notes ever made their way back to the States a Federal Reserve Bank would notice the yellow seal, send them to the Treasury, and they would destroy the note so any note that survived like this one has become very rare.
As you can see from the pics the note is in nice shape. It does have horizontal and vertical folds, but there are no tears or rips anywhere on the note and the corners are nice and straight. All printing and images are nice and clear and the yellow seal is clear as well. The note have a small rust spot on the reverse, which these notes were so susceptible to. North Africa notes were printed on darker paper so it is normal that the are a darker white than traditional notes. All in all this is a great piece of rare currency!
