**DESCRIPTION** Though unmarked, this mould is well documented as the gravy dish/tureen of the J.G Alcock Sceind pattern. This line wS produced in England in the 1840s. There is a partially impressed mould mark under the foot that could possibly say 3 x, and this is documented in the photos above. The blue on the lid has much less "flow" than the base.
**CONDITION** This piece is in very good antique condition, with no repairs. There are two flakes to underneath the base. There is craqueleur to the piece, with it being more extensive in the interior. There is a small crack to one of the handles UNDER the glaze, meaning this happened during the creation of the piece before glaze was applied. These conditions are to be expected since it is 175+ years old and pre-owned. Please see all photos above, which have been carefully taken to give an accurate representation of this item. **DIMENSIONS** approximately 6.25" Tall to top of rosebud handle on lid x 6" Wide x 9" Long from handle edge to handle edge.
