    Description

    VISTOSA large size 14” chop plate made by the Taylor, Smith & Taylor Co of East Liverpool, Ohio.
    This pattern was created to compete with Fiesta Ware though it failed to attain the same popularity: Vistosa was only made from 1937 through 1943 while Fiesta Ware is still being produced after more than 80 years.
    The round plate has embossed ‘shoulders’ and tab handles. Though called a chop plate, the handles make it easy to use as any kind of serving platter.
    Condition: a small chip on the underside edge, as shown in the last photo.
